Fingerprint Door Lock D400 + Camera
The D400+ Camera fingerprint smart lock, is one of the latest economical models from ALOCK. This product supports 100 fingerprint users, 200 PIN codes and card access. The 4 mega pixel color camera on it records images onto the internal memory card when the doorbell is pressed. It also offers live monitoring from inside and footage can be sent online to administrators.
This smart lock has Wi-Fi connectivity and can be controlled via the Smart Life app on mobile devices. It is equipped with a scratch-resistant glass touch panel and a touch doorbell button with a 50-decibel warning sound. Through the dedicated application, users can set single-use or multi-use passwords and view login records.
The color camera supports night vision, providing clear images even in low-light conditions. Another important feature is the ability to unlock the door remotely via mobile phone. Built-in privacy lock enhances security by preventing unauthorized access from outside.
The D400+ Camera smart lock is powered by four 1.5V AA batteries and offers approximately six months of usage time. Low battery warning system notifies the user before the battery runs out completely. There is also a micro-USB charging port integrated into the lock for emergencies. This way, temporary power can be provided using a power bank or phone charger from outside the door, and batteries can be changed by opening the lock.
For additional security, the lock is equipped with a super C-class mechanical key and offers a reliable manual opening option in case of emergency. When the electronic system is disabled, the mechanical key allows the door to be opened.
Another notable feature of the D400+ Camera digital lock is the Transition Mode. When this mode is enabled, no fingerprint, PIN or card is required to open the door; users can simply press down on the door handle to open the door. This feature is very useful for events, offices with frequent visitors, or busy transit areas.
The electronic components of the lock are covered by a two-year warranty. However, as with many smart locks, it is not suitable for installation in outdoor areas exposed to direct sunlight, rain or harsh weather conditions. It is ideal for interior use and can be installed on timber, security and fire rated doors.

Digital peepholes or cameras integrated into smart handles have various features that significantly affect price and final quality. One of these differences is related to the peephole and cameras. Cameras come in different types. The quality of the camera itself varies from VGA and 2 megapixels up to 8 megapixels and HD. Another difference in cameras is night vision capability. Night vision is a very important feature that can be achieved in several ways. Some cameras have low-light processing systems that enhance and improve dim images. Some cameras use infrared (IR) night vision, but these do not provide powerful color night vision, as they rely on infrared light reflection, resulting in mostly black-and-white images. Newer-generation cameras utilize Warm Light technology. In this system, similar to modern CCTV cameras, LED lamps are placed next to the camera. When ambient light decreases, they activate, illuminating the area and producing clearer, more natural, and higher-quality images of the surroundings.
Another difference among these cameras is their viewing angle. Typically, cameras have angles ranging from 100 to 140 degrees. The wider the angle, the better and broader the field of view.
Another difference in cameras is how they are activated. Some cameras are linked to the doorbell button, meaning they only activate when the doorbell on the handle is pressed. Others rely on motion sensors, detecting movement in front of the lock and automatically activating the camera even if no button is pressed.
Another difference among cameras is their operating mode. Some cameras activate only when the doorbell is pressed and can be viewed via a mobile app. Others, without requiring any button press, can be activated remotely through the app.
There are still many more differences, which are discussed in detail at ALOCK.
